Elected in 2020 Harris County Department of Education Trustee

Erica Davis was appointed as Chief of Staff by Constable Alan Rosen. Her career began in 2013 when she joined as the Community Outreach Director, demonstrating a strong commitment to bridging the gap between law enforcement and the community while actively contributing to significant advancements within the Constable's office. Under Constable Rosen's leadership, Davis shifted her primary focus towards policy development and public engagement.

In her role, she provided executive support to facilitate well-informed decision-making processes related to departmental policies, objectives, and procedures. As an integral member of the command staff, Davis collaborated closely with other Chiefs to formulate comprehensive, long-term organizational strategies and plans, playing a pivotal role in driving the agency towards its goals.

During her tenure leading the Public Affairs division, Davis assumed responsibility for a wide spectrum of functions. This encompassed overseeing media relations, community management, coordination of public initiatives, contributing to policy development, designing training programs, optimizing resource allocation, and deftly handling crises and conflicts as they emerged.

A particularly rewarding aspect of her position involved serving as the principal liaison and representative for the agency's executives. Davis took immense pride in her role, which entailed engaging with external stakeholders, partners, and the public, forging positive relationships, and cultivating trust on behalf of the organization.
